Do you treat that?

Today’s frequently asked question is “Do you treat that?”  This is a commonly asked question, because nobody wants to go through the hassle of making an appointment, and coming all the way down here to fill out paperwork, and go through an exam, only to find out that we can’t help them. What I would encourage you to do if you have a question about if your problem is a chiropractic problem or not, is to call the office. I would be happy to talk with you over the phone about your issue, and if I think you’re a good candidate for chiropractic care or not. You can also refer to our list of some of the most commonly treated conditions in the office on the homepage of our website at www.catalystchiroandrehab.com.

FAQ Video: Do you take my insurance?

Hi! Today’s frequently asked question is “Do you guys take my insurance?” The answer is that we are an in network provider with all of the area’s major insurance carriers. That includes Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, Kaiser, Moda (previously ODS), and United Health Care. I may be forgetting some, but if you have any questions about whether or not chiropractic care is a covered benefit on your plan, please give us a call, and we can verify that for you. Our number is 503-526-8782.

Do you have unused benefits?

Earlier this month we mailed out a notice about your unused benefits. Many of you either have unused chiropractic visits, have met your deductibles for the year, or have funds left in your FSA accounts. Many of these benefits will be lost if not used by the end of the year.
If you have unused benefits, call now to schedule before year’s end, as appointments will be limited because of office closures for Christmas.

Holiday Stress-buster: The 90/90 posture
Does your low back ache from hours of holiday shopping or long work days as you try to get everything done before the holiday break? Try this simple relief posture to naturally decompress your lumbar spine and relieve all that pressure that has built up lately. Simply lay in the position shown below with your knees and hips flexed up to 90 degrees and feet resting on a chair or sofa for 5-10 minutes. If you want to make it even better, roll up a towel and place it under your neck to relax and realign your neck.
